Common Ground EP cover artwork sneak peak and other stuff

Hey Everybody, thought you all might like to see what the new EP's artwork will look like. I had about 5 final designs that I went through; all were photographs had a nature kind of vibe and I thought hyper colors and textures on this one were pretty cool. Plus, since the EP is named Common Ground there is the symmetry to that whole thing as well. My EP will be available for purchase next Tuesday August 25 on iTunes and most of all of other digital music places. Its really nice to be home and working on the next record. I am having a lot of fun tweaking tunes while I am writing with a bunch of studio gear that I had put off purchasing for a long time. Got to admit I am having a blast working on the next record on writing new stuff & tweaking parts of songs choruses, bridges, outros, melodies... in general, just hammering these all out. Spending a lot of time with my family too, which can't be beat. I really hope you enjoy this summer. Plus, I am going to a Dream Theatre show next week and I am super geeked up for that. Checking in from the road & new dates...

Coming at you from Tucson (not playing here just driving on to San Diego - clocked 900 or so miles- from my Austin gig on Monday night.) Just posted new dates in the Southeast US for next month and some to get me back home - looking forward to seeing you all in places like Atlanta, Memphis, Orlando, N'awlins and more before I head off to Olde England. Great to meet you guys in Texas and Oklahoma thanks for a damn good time and making me and Christine feel right at home. I'm still buzzing from the shows.

Re: LA and SD shows

If you are planning on coming out to the LA show at the Mint on Friday, but don't have tix... it looks to sell out so please think about coming with you and your friends to the San Diego gig at Lestats on Thursday as this will be my only other southern California gig for a while.

Hi Ya'll,

From the confines of Jane Austin's merry old England in the Cotswolds. I may be in Bath, UK but mainly taking showers… Bad joke… but it's no joke that I'm happy to announce I've got some great US dates to announce for early September: one West Coast (Seattle, WA at the Triple Door) and the rest are some amazing tour dates in a few of the Midwest's best venues on a little ole thang we're calling Acoustic Archery with my co-conspirator Billy McLaughlin and on select nights our friends Stephen Bennett and Dean McGraw. Okay, run on sentence but I'm eager to see you all. It's going to be an all around great night of music. Come say hello to me and Billy, Stephen and Dean.

I expect that these will be the last US dates of the year

Hey all, gearing up for a bunch of dates and if I'm coming your way I'd sure be great to have you come and spend some quality hang time with me and my music. I'm mostly in the UK, Ireland until the end of May (see the dates) and then continental European dates through the summer but as it is right now I'm actually out on a small place called Reunion Island which is out in the middle of the Indian Ocean! Andy McKee on the East Coast

Hey folks,

Andy will be touring the East Coast this month with fellow guitarists Craig D'Andrea and Antoine DuFour. The trio will start in Maine, head to Pittsburgh, then Boston, Providence, Philadelphia, Connecticut and New Jersey before finishing in New York City.
