After watching Andy's videos on YouTube I found myself wanting to throw my guitar away. I thought that perhaps there was something besides Andy's amazing technique and compositions that was making me feel that way and sure enough, I played the video backwards and I heard Andy whispering softly "no soup for you... no soup for you".

I'm telling you, this guy has some creative ways of knocking-off the competition!!!

Well, just wait Andy... I've got some of those old Andy McKee signature Fruit-O-The-Looms from the rootwitch forum and I'm planning on wearing them while I practice from now on. You can't stop me!!! Ahahahahahahahhhhaaaaaa.

I have to say, I feel the complete opposite. Watching Andy just makes me want to play even more. He's so inspiring.

Inspiring... umb, yeah! He's probably one of the most inspiring players on the planet. Please excuse my silly sarcasm and keep jammin!

Yeah, it was seeing Andy's youtube videos that inspired me to buy an acoustic guitar, having played electric for a few years. I also got the opportunity to talk to him briefly at the gig he did with Tommy Emmanuel in Coventry, which was cool. I'll never be able to play as well as he does, but I still find it inspiring to hear someone with so much talent and compositional ability.

To think he uses subliminal messages.. the shame... . Seriously though, I cam across his youtube videos 3 months ago, and I've been playing acoustic guitar ever since. I'm still a newbie at it, but my goal is to someday reach somewhat close to Andy's level of playing. I just have to convince myself now that it's possible to get there with hard work and no talent... probably won't happen...
