RE: What capo should I buy?
Well, I have a Dunlop, but it's a bit too thick and rigid for my taste. I like the way Fred Kelly Delrin Slick Pick I. It works well for picking and strumming. I also have a metal tip and plastic collection ProPik tip of the thumb but the metal is not suitable for collecting, and the piece of plastic - ironically - is too hard to design me.

If you're into partial capos, the spider capo looks really interesting: http://www.spidercapo.com/
You can adjust the partial capo while playing easily with the large knobs at the top, and it can function like a normal capo as well. I'm interested in buying one!
edit: Antoine and Craig both have the third hand capo, but this one looks a lot easier to set up and use!

Get a Planet Waves NS capo. It's my primary capo now, I put my trusty Shubb in my travel guitar's gigbag.

Shubbs are great. Easy to apply to the guitar neck and very stable tuning. No movement with buzzy strings like some Ive tried.
If there's a downside they are quite small and easy to loose. They do them for 12 string, classical, banjo, electric etc
Recommeded article on how to choose and buy an Acoustic Guitar. Plenty of tips and advice.
