Entry Level Baritone Guitar
Hello, I was wondering if Andy, or anyone else for that matter, had any suggestions for an entry level (or slightly higher) baritone guitar. I consider myself capable at the guitar, but not quite up to the league of some. I had looked at the websites for companies like Andrew White and others that Andy had listed on his website, only to learn that they are sorely out of my price range. Anyways, and suggestions or advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

RE: Entry Level Baritone Guitar
As Mr. Titus suggested elsewhere, you can easily create your own "short-scale" baritone by popping some baritone strings on a standard scale 6 string. After all, that's what Michael Hedges did for his "low-strung" guitars (Lowden and Takamine).
Try a set, and if you like it, take the guitar in for a setup to adjust the intonation, and you have a baritone.

Anyone played the danelectro baritone. I haven't played my electric guitars in quite a while(!) but this one sounds good as long as the neck is wide enough for real guitar playing!

If you're looking for an acoustic, you'll probably have to drop about a grand.
If you're looking electric, there are a few models that are less:
Fender Jagmaster Baritone (about $650-$700)
Agile AL-2800 ($340)
Agile AB-3500 ($430)
I hope that helps.
