Gaming and the like

I thought I'd just make this thread since there was one discussion drifting off somewhere on the FAQ thread Smile

Well it seems a few people like games here, and just to start things off, since we were in the discussion of blizzard games...

Who plays World of Warcraft! Big Grin

EDIT: Hamachi Download:

mmmm... Thanks Riley Big Grin Just a massive problem with that is that at the moment I'm at uni and my Starcraft CD is at home... my new laptop doesn't have it installed Sad Or warcraft 3, which i have to admit I have played more recently.

RE: Gaming and the like

When connected together in this server, we can go on a game, lets say Starcraft, and open up the LAN feature. One of us can host a game there and we will all see it in the LAN section, and can play there as if it was over a local network!

RE: Gaming and the like

Hey dudes!

My fiance Christine still plays WoW almost daily. I used to play a Night Elf/Hunter. She has leveled him to 70 and he's all decked out in phat lewt!

Sins of the Solar Empire looks cool, haven't tried it yet. I've been mainly playing old favorites on the Wii virtual console like Metal Marines and Shining in the Darkness. Too much fun!

Looking forward to Super Smash Bros. Melee soon. Altough I won't have any time to play it once March hits. I think I am going to be busy as hell at least until July.

Anyway, game on homies!
Andy

Oh well since there are quite a few people who seem interested in the Wii, I thought I should post this.

On that link is an embedded youtube video which shows someone who home made(I believe), a headtracking system for the Wii. It's pretty amazing and the 3d effects really come out.

Ahh cool, I have a desire to keep playing more wow, but ever since Uni, it has become difficult! and when Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out, I'm busy too! But us english people are getting it later than you Sad Like in the summer, but then... I don't have time until the summer comes Big Grin (with a healthy list of No More Heroes, Metriod Prime 3, etc. of Wii games i need to play.)

We will need to exchange Wii friend codes at some point too.

And Horde ftw!!! Big Grin

RE: Gaming and the like

I'm into:

World of Warcraft - Scarlet Crusade server
Final Fantasy 6, 7, 8, 9, tactics
Half Life 2
Farcry
Call of Duty 4
Breath of Fire III
Heroes of MIght and Magic 2 and 3
Diablo 1 and 2

I usually am playing WoW but the others are some favorites that I still mess around with here and there. Never actually tried Starcraft, but it's obviously great since everyone loves it.

And yes, Horde ftw Big Grin

Yeah man.. Sins of a Solar Empire is really cool.. just VERY long. My brothers' game and mine has been going on for a few days..

Multiple star systems .. wow it takes a long time but its great.

Anyways, when the business slows down we should have a big starcraft game.

RE: Gaming and the like

I used to be a big gamer, but not so much anymore. Working and writing/practicing music takes time, y'know? Most of the gaming I do nowadays is classic stuff from my childhood. NES, SNES, & PSone mostly. However, my roomie did recently get an XBox 360, so I've started playing through Assassin's Creed and Dead Rising. I also recently powered my way through God of War 2 and had an amazing time!

I played WoW for a stint, but never really had the time nor the desire to focus on it heavily. I used to be big into Everquest back into high school, but kinda grew out of it, I guess. I eventually saw it as just a waste of time...I wasn't having fun leveling my character, so why bother?!

The most fun I seem to have from playing WOW actually isn't the the leveling, it is the money making, friends, the feeling of achieving something (even though I never had the time to work with a guild to do Black Temple) and all the stupid things i've done in it XD

ahhh I do hope to go back to it after i finish all my work and stuff... Sad
