Unlike the remote control battle cars it seems there isn't a limit to the number of hits each copter can take, however there's nothing stopping you from stomping your opponents copter into oblivion with the heel of your shoe after you take him down. While watching Gizmodo's Live E3 feed we caught sight a clear sign that the Nintendo DSi will have Facebook integration at some point, at least the ability to upload photos from the DSi to your Facebook account.
Interesting Facts of CCTV Camera
Here are some interesting facts

* The first CCTV camera was installed in Germany for observing the launch of V2 rocket at Test Stand VII. Walter Bruch, a German engineer was responsible for the entire installation and design of this system.

* It is believed that in the next five years the use of these cameras will escalate by 10 times in UK. Some places in UK have installed talking CCTV, where the operator can talk to the people they monitor.

* The basic technology used in these cameras is CCD (Charge Coupled Device) which converts the captured images into electronic impulses.

* According to a research, the average citizen is caught about 300 times a day on a CCTV camera.

* Approx 25 million these cameras are operating around the world.

* It is believed that 67% burglary incidents will get reduced by installing these cameras. Although just 9% of the consumers actually have CCTV.

* Singapore airport has the largest CCTV system in the world with 3000 cameras.

* Almost all bank cash machines use these cameras

* UK has the maximum number of these cameras per head of population, about one camera for 14 people. And, in all UK has 4 million these cameras that is 20% of the World's total CCTV camera installations.

* Harrods London has 500 these cameras installed and Brussels airport is testing about 700 digital cameras.

How to Become Good at RPG Games

Role playing games have never been more popular. Big titles of the genre includes Final Fantasy, Oblivion, Star Ocean and Mass Effect, games you've heard of unless you've lived under a rock for the last decade. In which case I'm so sorry and congratulations for finding this article. I don't know how you managed to read this today but I love serving you with the following knowledge. Knowledge on how to succeed in role playing games, or in short, RPGs.

Haste is bad

Games in this genre have the tendency to be really long and big. It's one huge adventure. But truth is that these games can usually be finished rather quickly. One of the biggest role playing games of the last few years has to be Oblivion. A game that allows you to walk freely in a big world. While the game has enough to entertain for 100+ hours, the main story can actually be completed in under 10 hours. But with the side stories and extras your character can become stronger and in the progress the main story becomes easier. That's the thing in RPGs you shouldn't want to complete it quickly, instead take your time to train your character and find new rare items. It will make your experience a whole lot easier!

Understand the battle system

Every game has a different approach to the fighting mechanics. Older Final Fantasy games for example were turn based, meaning time wasn't of the essence. But Oblivion and Final Fantasy 12 (last released ps2 version) are very much time sensitive meaning that it matters how long it takes you to find items or magic spells. Bottom line is that you must know the way fighting works in and out to succeed in these games. If you don't know how it works read the user manual or search the internet for the required knowledge.

Exploit weaknesses

Like in real life every character and monsters in this case have weaknesses and strengths. For example your main character might have extremely strong spells but lack of physical strength. In this case use magic to win your battles. Same goes for the enemies you're fighting. Find out what their weaknesses are and the battle will go your way no doubt.

Items

It's essential that you use the items and strengths you've at your disposal. Understand how to cure curtain curses like poison or blind. And use the necessary items. No one has ever won an RPG without using items like potions or ethers.

And that's all there is to it. With these pointers you can beat every RPG on the market. Good luck and I hope you experience a great adventure at the comfort of your own living room.

eh up, hows it going?

I dont post on here often but have been looking through past posts trying to find info on pick up systems and such. A lot of very useful info from you guys.
My main question is about the k&k systems. I remember reading somewhere that the k&k pure western mini (the one with just three contact pickups) could very easily pick up percussion on the body. I just wanted this to be clarified because I just cant see how it could pick up the percussion - k&k do the trinity system as well with a mic and that, for me, would be the one to go for if i wanted it to pick up percussion (its also more expensive) But if the pure western mini is as good as ive read for picking up percussion, then maybe i should go for that? If anyone could give me advice on this I would be very grateful.

I want a new guitar as well, possibly an avalon as i cant afford a lowden. My current guitar (breedlove performance series fusion thingy majig) is really great. It has a lr baggs dual source system installed and it does sound great through my aer (i do need some sort of pre amp though possibly tonebone?) GOD DAMN SO MANY QUESTIONS!!! But anyway theres just something about the sound thats not right. when the mic is blended in for percussive sounds it gets incredibly bassy. I dont really have a clue what im saying really.
My other guitar (faith saturn) is an insane guitar for the price however the seymour duncan magmic ive had installed is troubling me as well. Very tinny sound.

I really dont know what to do. Its all very confusing and expensive.

If anyone can make any sense of what ive just written and what exactly im asking, please any advice will be brill.

Cheers ,

Hey everyone,
I'm a bit confused!
I'm looking for a guitar that's suitable for fingerstyle to purchase in the future.
I had in mind:
Martin OM-1 (or OMC-1E), solid spruce top and solid sapele back & sides, have not yet tried one (work in progress).
Godin Seagull Maritime SWS HG Folk or Maritime SWS HG MIni-Jumbo
Tanlgewood TW45 NS B or TW170 AS CE (there are more similar models here)

I'm confused because every manufacturer has other names for the body shapes.
What I'm looking for is something like what the following manufacturers have:
Taylor:
GC (Body Width: 15" / Body Depth: 4 3/8" / Body Length: 19 1/2")
or:
GA (Body Width: 16" / Body Depth: 4 5/8" / Body Length: 20")

Martin:
000 12-fret
000 14-fret
OM, wider neck (1 3/4" at nut)

Can anyone tell me what the folk and mini-jumbo shapes are like compared to the above?

Thanks,

Hey friendly people,

i was wondering which song I should learn next.
I have this list of songs I would like to learn:

Andy McKee
7-14 - BF#C#F#BF#
All Laid Back And Stuff -
Drifting - DADGAD (done)
Ebon Coast - BEADF#B
For My Father - ECDGAD
I WIll See You Again	- CGDGAD (done)
Ouray -
She -
Rylynn - ECDGAD (capo ECDG, 5 fr)
When She Cries - CGDGBC

Antoine Dufour
Ashes in the Sea - DAEFCE
Catching The Light - DAC#EBE
Mother - C#AEG#BE
You And I -

Billy McLaughlin
Hold On To Forever - DADEBA

Don Ross
Berkley Springs -
Klimbim - BF#C#F#BF#
Michael, Michael, Michael- CGCGBbC
No Goodbyes - BEADF#B

Duane Allman
Little Martha - EBEG#BE

Mason Williams
Classical Gas - EADGBE

Michael Hedges
Aerial Boundaries - CCDGAD
All Along The Watchtower- DAEEAA (done)
Ritual Dance - DADGCC (done)
Come Together - DGDGGD
Woman Of The World	- DADEBA

I am asking for your opinion because I am very bad at judging difficulty, to me everything I can't play looks impossible (just like how Drifting, or Ritual Dance impressed me at first).

I think some of Andy's songs aren't too hard and would extend nicely from what I already know and can play. But then again, I might be wrong.

I hope you can give me some directions.
Thanks,

Hey everyone,

I have been practising Ritual Dance for a while now, seemed like an easy enough song to start with (haha, no). The tutorial I'd followed was doing half of the things wrong methinks.
But the thing I want to ask is, how many people here are actually into his music?
I have Aerial Boundaries also on the 'to learn' list.
Michael Hedges 1994 Concert "Crew" T-shirt
I thought some of you might wanted to check that out. ;)

Hey guys..just wanted to say that I was fortunate enough to see Andy and Johnny Dickinson in Pittsburgh last night..

My My My...I thought about how to explain this all day..and truth be told there is no real justice in words..it was a fantastic blend of two styles. Johnny was brilliant and very captive with his playing..and his vocals were as pure as silk...A real treat for me as I was not familiar with his music..You fellows will certainly need to look him up..

Andy now....hmmmmmmm. He is a demon I'm convinced. Pretty much blew dry my hair with his opening..His guitar sounded very powerful and I never realized he played that aggressively.. Everything was pretty much spot on and precise as you would expect..He played 5 tunes from Joyland... My Life as a CPA was AAfreakinmazing....I am convinced that his composition skills are as good as any guitarist out there...Truly gifted man...

Anyway boys and girls...Get your arses out there and support Andy and Johnny..Phenomonal show...

Thanks guys.

Hey folks,
Not really looking to play the song using this tuning just yet, I'm actually just wondering how to pull this off.
Is this done on a baritone or on a standard?
Standard sounds more logical to me, but I might be wrong.

If it is from standard, then how can I tune my low E donw to B? I'll sure need a thicker 6th string, but does anyone have a clue on how high the gauge should be (.60 or even more?)?

Thanks,

Hunter's Moon is so gangster!!!!!! I wasnt quite ready for it at first, but I found myself coming back to listen to it almost 6 or 7 times today and I think Im just gonna have to listen to it again while typing this thread. Im noticing so many little subtleties in it now. What i really like is how the percussive element of the song isnt just limited to the slaps on the body of the guitar, but the voicings and contacts on the fretboard are almost inadverdently yet intentionally intertwined in syncopation with them.. The plucked harmonics are like none ive ever heard before. The title is too perfect, as I feel just like Im sitting in the woods before sunrise, flanked on all sides by richly hued timbers, pondering the meaning of life and gripping the cold steel of a 30.06 in my hands...gangster. But who could know what Andy had in mind. Anyways, thats just the feeling that I get. Beautiful.
